The LiViliti Paptizer 360 is a compact, FDA-cleared (510(k), Class II) UV-C LED microbial reduction device for CPAP mask cushions. Place one dry cushion on the quartz glass tray, close the lid, and press START. The 30-minute cycle runs on its own and shuts off when it's done—helping reduce bacterial populations on the surfaces that contact your skin.

Over-the-counter for adult, single-patient home use. No prescription is required under the device's FDA labeling (confirm any retailer or plan rules separately).

How It Works

Place One Cushion
Set a single dry cushion on the quartz glass tray with the opening facing up so the light reaches the surfaces that contact your skin. Remove headgear, frame, and tubing first—cushion only.

Close and Start
Close the lid and press START. The LCD counts down the 30-minute cycle.

Ready When It's Done
The unit turns off automatically at the end of the cycle. There's nothing to rinse or wipe, and the cushion is ready to use right away.

How It Differs from the Original Paptizer

The original LiViliti Paptizer is a multi-purpose UVC device with a larger chamber, a quick 3-minute cycle, and drying and storage modes. The Paptizer 360 is purpose-built and FDA-cleared specifically for CPAP mask cushions, processing one cushion per 30-minute cycle on a quartz glass tray.

Lab Testing

In laboratory (in vitro) testing on ResMed AirFit F20 mask cushions, one complete cycle demonstrated a 2-log (99%) reduction of S. aureus, S. epidermidis, P. aeruginosa, K. pneumoniae, S. pyogenes, and E. coli. Any correlation between in vitro results and clinical outcome has not been established.

Compatibility

The Paptizer 360 has been tested for use with the ResMed AirFit F20 (mask cushion only). The safe use of the Paptizer 360 with any other respiratory devices or accessories, such as headgear, mask frame, and mask elbow, has not been established. It is not intended for tubing, headgear, or CPAP machines.

FAQ

Do I need to wash the cushion before using the Paptizer 360?
Use the Paptizer 360 as part of your normal cushion care. Follow your mask manufacturer's cleaning schedule; the device is the UV-C microbial reduction step for a dry cushion—not a substitute for washing when the manufacturer calls for it.

Which masks has it been tested with?
It has been tested with the ResMed AirFit F20 mask cushion (cushion only). Safe use with other accessories has not been established.

Can I put tubing or the whole mask in?
No. Cushion only—not tubing, headgear, frames, elbows, or the CPAP machine.

Does it use ozone or chemicals?
No. It uses UV-C LEDs only—ozone-free and chemical-free, with no cartridges or filters to reorder.

Is a prescription required?
No. This is an OTC device under its FDA labeling for adult, single-patient home use.

What is the warranty?
2 years on the unit and power supply; 30 days on the quartz tray.

Important: The Paptizer 360 is intended as an adjunct to, not a replacement for, the cleaning procedures recommended by your CPAP mask manufacturer. Always follow the cleaning, care, maintenance, and replacement instructions provided by the manufacturer of your equipment or accessories.
